Sean is a local to Phuket having lived here during his high school years. He has always been involved in sports and fitness from a young age, competing in high level state and national Rugby League and athletics divisions in Australia and Thailand. After leaving high school in being what he considered “good shape”, Sean soon found himself, like most of us, caught up in the rat race and slowly letting his wellbeing slide down the list of priorities. Looking for something more interesting to the normal training regimes he was used to he turned to Crossfit in 2013 and hasn’t looked back since.
When approached to become a coach it was a natural urge for Sean to want to help others reach their goals and it wasn’t long before he was certified as a trainer and coach to pass on his passion and knowledge to those who wanted more out of their training and lifestyle. To Sean the functional aspect of training is the best carry-over into sports, and more importantly, everyday life. Sean focuses on teaching people how to move correctly and efficiently to harness their bodies full potential. Seeing their results is what inspires and motivates him as a coach.
Being able to watch someone reach a goal or hit a new PR is the best feeling. Knowing that you helped them to achieve something they never thought possible makes it all worthwhile. I can’t think of a better job than being able to help someone realize their true potential.
